DAY 1 / SATURDAY / APRIL 22, 2023 - ARRIVE FLORENCE
Arrive Florence international airport, meet your driver, transfer to our hotel. (If you’re flying in and out
of Rome, reach out to Alida to help you organize the transfers and train rides).
Enjoy some time at leisure to rest and recuperate from your flights.
In the early evening hours, meet Alida and your fellow travelers in the lobby. Enjoy a welcome drink
and head out for a welcome dinner at a local restaurant where we’ll enjoy a Tuscan 3-course meal
paired with local wines, let the fun begin!
DAY 2 / SUNDAY / APRIL 23, 2023 - EXPLORE FLORENCE
In the morning, we will meet our licensed local guide and head out for a walking tour of Florence with
street food tasting! We will visit all of the most beautiful areas of the city and taste all the amazing
food! Later, we will visit the Accademia Gallery to see Michelangelo’s masterpiece, David. The
afternoon is yours to enjoy Florence at your own pace. Let’s meet up in the evening and head out to
grab a bite and a drink in town!
DAY 3 / MONDAY / APRIL 24, 2023 - PISA & SAN GIMIGNANO - SIENA
After breakfast we will meet our local guide and driver for the day and head to visit Pisa first. We will
tour Il Campo dei Miracoli and visit the famous leaning towner, later we will head to San Gimignano,
but first, we will stop at a local winery for a tour, wine tasting and a lunch filled of Tuscan traditional
dishes.
Upon arrival to San Gimignano, we will enjoy a short, guided tour of this lovely town and free time for
you to just enjoy the atmosphere or wonder around on your own. In the afternoon we will head to our
hotel on the outskirts of Siena. Tonight we’ll have dinner at our hotel and relax with Tuscan wines in
this beautiful setting.
DAY 4 / TUESDAY / APRIL 25, 2023 - SIENA & MONTALCINO TOUR
Today we’ll sleep a bit longer and enjoy more free time in the morning, than our driver will pick us up
and take us to Siena. First, we’ll enjoy a walking tour of the town and it’s UNESCO protected historical center. And some free time for you to explore on own or grab a bite. Later, we will meet our local guide again and head to Montalcino, a small town considered to be the sanctuary of Brunello wine, one of the best wines in the world. Of course, we will enjoy visiting a fortress, a castle and its cellars.
We will taste the wine and learn about its story. Later, we indulge in a delicious dinner full of local
specialties that will blow your mind, of course, along with the Brunello wine! We will return our hotel in the evening hours.
DAY 5 / WEDNESDAY / APRIL 26, 2023 - PIENZA & MONTEPULCIANO
Today morning we will head into the Tuscan hills and admire the breathtaking scenery during our
drive. Hills, cypresses, vineyards, olive groves make this area a real gem! Following the country
lanes of Val D’ Orcia, we will reach Pienza, a town that represents the perfect combination of
architectural beauty blended into the natural landscapes. We will explore Pienza with a local licensed
guide, enjoy a tasting of the famous Pecorino of Pienza, and some free time to enjoy the town on your own. Then, we will head to Montepulciano, another jewel of Val d’Orcia area with its renaissance
buildings and mesmerizing view of the Val D’orcia valley. Our lunch today will be served at a local
winery, we will taste another amazing wine with it, the very unique Vino Nobile. We will enjoy learning
about this town from our hosts and our guide. After our delicious lunch, we will head out for a walk in
Montepulciano, with free time for you to also enjoy and explore on your own.
We will return to our hotel in the afternoon. Your evening is free.
DAY 6 / THURSDAY / APRIL 27, 2023 - CHIANTI CLASSICO
In the late morning hours today, we will check out of our hotel in Siena and head into the Chianti
Classico area. Our first stop will be a Chianti winery where we will have a tour of the vineyards, winery
and of course, enjoy another marvelous Tuscan lunch paired with one of the best Chianti wines.
We will arrive Florence in the early afternoon hours. The afternoon and evening are free for you to
explore the city on your own, go shopping or visit another museum such as the Uffizi Gallery.
DAY 7 / FRIDAY / APRIL 28, 2023 - OPTIONAL HOT AIR BALOON
Enjoy the free morning, explore or relax.
Or – join the optional tour – hot air balloon tour over the Tuscan hills! Departure from our hotel will be
before dawn, we will transfer to the outskirts of the city to meet our expert hot air balloon pilot for a
short safety briefing. Then we will board our basket, and silently fly above the most beautiful area of
Tuscany, up on the height of 900 to 3.000 feet for approximately 1 hour. During the flight our expert
guide will be also telling us about this exceptional area. At the end of your flight, the hot air balloon
staff will welcome us back with a glass of local red Chianti, then we will head back to our hotel with
some time at leisure. In the early evening we will meet at the lobby and our driver will take us to an
agrotourismo close to Florence for our last Tuscan open-air dinner (weather permitting, otherwise we
will dine indoors).
DAY 8 / SATURDAY / APRIL 29, 2023 - DEPART ITALY
Your driver will pick you up from the hotel according to your flight timing.
(If you’ll fly from Rome, reach out to Alida to organize the train ride and transfer in Rome.)

A few things to know before you go ahead:
PRICES:
Prices are per person based upon shared twin/double room occupancy. Prices do not include items of a personal nature such as laundry, wines, water, beverages, or food other than those described in the
itinerary, passport and visa fees, insurance, and foreign port taxes unless specifically indicated in
the package inclusions.
A single supplement is quoted in each program/itinerary for the single use of a hotel room.
Triple rooms may be available upon request, at a slightly per-person discounted rate.
PAYMENT & CANCELLATION:

A non-refundable deposit is due at the time of reservation
All reservations: $500 per person
Final Payment:
All reservations: 45 days prior to the tour start date
Late Payment: If there is any outstanding balance by the Final Payment Due date listed on your
invoice, all travel services will be subject to automatic cancellation, and cancellation fees will apply.
Form of Payment: All payments due are in US Dollars. We accept payment in form of personal
check, wire transfers, major credit cards, or debit cards.
Refunds: Refunds are processed to the credit card(s) originally used for payment
Cancellation: Once a partial or full payment has been made, cancellations will only be accepted in
writing, and sent directly to alida@alidalifetravel.com.
Cancellation terms will be applied based on the
date that the written cancellation is received and based on the following dates prior to departure.
