DAY 1 / SUNDAY / MAY 28, 2023 - ARRIVE PALERMO - TRAPANI
Arrive Palermo International airport, meet your English-Speaking driver and transfer to our hotel in Trapani. Get settled in your room and take some time to rest and recuperate from your flights. In the late afternoon / early evening hours, meet with Alida and your fellow travelers at the lobby of the hotel. We will head out for our delicious Sicilian 3-course meal, paired with outstanding Sicilian wine! It will be a great introduction in the Sicilian life!
DAY 2 / MONDAY / MAY 29, 2023 - BOAT TRIP TO FAVIGANA & LEVANZO
Prepare for an unforgettable day! In the morning after breakfast, we will head to sea! Our private boat and captain will take us on the discovery of the beautiful Egadi islands. We will enjoy swim stops where you will be able to swim and dive in the clearest waters you have ever seen, around Favignana and Levanzo. We will have soft drinks and snacks on board and free time for lunch on shore.
In the afternoon, we will return to our hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure, let’s meet up in the evening for drinks and let’s go to town and grab dinner together!
DAY 3 / TUESDAY / MAY 30, 2023 - EXPLORE ERICE, SEGESTA & CASTELLAMARE
Today we will meet our licensed local guide in the lobby and head to visit Erice, a very unique and beautiful hilltop town. We will enjoy a tour and lunch with local dishes in a small, family-owned trattoria. Later, we will head to Segesta where we will visit the archeological area. Our next stop will be Castellammare Del Golfo, home to an interesting Medievel fortress that we will visit.
We will return to our hotel in Trapani in the afternoon, with time for you to enjoy at your own pace.
DAY 4 / WEDNESDAY / MAY 31, 2023 - TRAPANI - CORLEONE - AGRIGENTO
​After breakfast we bid farewell to Trapani, and start our adventure into the countryside. We enjoy the scenic drive, and a visit to three amazing towns. First, we stop in Corleone, a town famous for the fictional Mafia family, but the town has real interesting history to discover. Later we continue to Palazzo Adriano, an interesting town founded in ancient times by Albanian exiles who brought with them their culture and customs. We will admire the beautiful church of Santa Maria Assunta on Greek – Byzantine style and enjoy lunch at a local agrotourism farm. In the afternoon, we will arrive our hotel in Agrigento.
DAY 5 / THURSDAY / JUNE 1, 2023 - EXPLORE AGRIGENTO
Today will be dedicated to Agrigento. First, we will visit the fascinating archeological site “Valley of the Temples” – one of the most significant sites of ancient Greek history. Later, we will enjoy a guided tour of Agrigento, and admire it’s beauties! The afternoon is at leisure for you to enjoy at your own pace. You can go to the town’s beach, explore on your own, or relax at the hotel. Let’s meet up in the evening for drinks!
DAY 6 / FRIDAY / JUNE 2, 2023 - AGRIGENTO - PIAZZA ARMERINA - SYRACUSE
In the morning we head inland again, visiting and Piazza Armerina and Ragusa, two beautiful and interesting, typical Sicilian towns. In Piazza Armerina we will see one of the best-preserved Roman mosaics that are under UNESCO protection. Later, we continue to Ragusa, another hilltop town, home to many beautiful baroque buildings like the Duomo di San Giorgio, home also to unique paintings and gorgeous stained-glass windows. Today, we will also have a delicious lunch at a local agroturismo!
We will arrive Syracusa, and our hotel in the late afternoon hours. Your evening is at leisure.
DAY 7 / SATURDAY / JUNE 3, 2023 - EXPLORE SYRACUSE: LAND & SEA
Today we will explore Syracuse, first, we will head out for a walking tour of the town and discover it’s wonders. Later, we embark our boat and sail around the Ortiga island and North Syracuse. We will enjoy the sight of picturesque caves and corals, as well as landmarks such as Castello Maniace, the Spanish Walls, the Ear of Dionysus cave and much more! We will have a light lunch onboard paired with local wines. Return on shore in the afternoon, and the rest of the day is at leisure.
DAY 8 / SUNDAY / JUNE 4, 2023 - SYRACUSE - NOTO - CATANIA - TAORMINA
This morning first we will visit Noto, a small town known for its renown baroque architecture. Later, we will continue our way north east to Catania. In Catania we will indulge in Sicilian flavors during a street food walking tour. We will learn about this amazing town, it’s history and cuisine! After the tour, there will be some free time to explore on own, and then later we will meet again and enjoy the drive with views of Mount Etna and arrive our hotel in Taormina. Later, we can take the hotel free shuttle and go for dinner and drinks into the town!
DAY 9 / MONDAY / JUNE 5, 2023 - IN TAORMINA
After breakfast we will meet our local guide and enjoy a walking tour of this beautiful town and it’s amazing Greek theatre. Later, we will meet our chef and enjoy a cooking class together. We will learn how to prepare amazing Sicilian dishes from scratch, the best souvenir to take home from this trip!
The afternoon is free for you to enjoy the beach, relax or explore on your own.
DAY 10 / TUESDAY / JUNE 6, 2023 - EXPLORE THE ETNA COUNTRYSIDE
A great day is ahead of us, we will explore the most fascinating area of Sicily, the Etna countryside. We will learn about the respect the local community has for this powerful volcano often called “Mother Etna”. We will enjoy a wine tour with tasting and lunch at a local winery and drive through the most beautiful nature you can imagine! Return to Taormina in the afternoon with time at leisure. Let’s go out for drinks together tonight!
DAY 11 / WEDNESDAY / JUNE 7, 2023 - BOAT TRIP TO PANAREA & STROMBOLI
​Today, we head to Sea again! We will transfer to the port of Milazzo where we board our boat. We will sail along the mesmerizing Aeoli islands, dotted along the Sicilian north east coast. We will have time to explore Panarea, and free time to enjoy the beach. In the afternoon we will board our boat again and sail to Stromboli, the famous active Vulcano! We will stay on this amazing island and explore until sunset. At sunset, we board our boat again and start our night sail along the island. If we are lucky, we will have the chance to whiteness the natural phenomena – the active volcano small eruptions of lava in the night. This is a bucket list experience that you will never forget! We return on shore and our hotel very late tonight; it could be close to midnight.
DAY 12 / THURSDAY / JUNE 8, 2023 - TAORMINA - CEFALU - PALERMO
We will have some free time in the morning to relax and enjoy Taormina. In the late morning hours, we will head west along the coast. Our first stop today will be Cefalu, a cute fisherman village that developed into a beautiful resort town. We will have free time to walk around, take pictures and grab a bite, then we continue our way to Palermo. We will get settled in our hotel, and later tonight, we will head into town to experience a marvelous street food tour of Palermo! Be prepared for tasting amazing local foods! Later, we can all go for drinks!
DAY 13 / FRIDAY / JUNE 9, 2023 - EXPLORE MONREALE & PALERMO
Today in the morning (not too early!) we will enjoy a tour of Monreale, a town right next to Palermo, where we will visit the fascinating Duomo and learn about the citrus production and its importance for the area. We will also have some free time before returning to Palermo.
The afternoon is free for you to explore on own or relax. In the early afternoon hours, we will gather one last time and head out to a local restaurant for our farewell dinner with amazing Sicilian dishes and wines!
DAY 14 / SATURDAY / JUNE 10, 2023 - DEPART PALERMO
Today your driver will pick you up, and transfer you to Palermo international airport for your homebound flight.

PRICES:
Prices are per person based upon shared twin/double room occupancy. Prices do not include items of a personal nature such as laundry, wines, water, beverages, or food other than those described in the
itinerary, passport and visa fees, insurance, and foreign port taxes unless specifically indicated in
the package inclusions.
A single supplement is quoted in each program/itinerary for the single use of a hotel room.
Triple rooms may be available upon request, at a slightly per-person discounted rate.

A non-refundable deposit is due at the time of reservation
All reservations: $500 per person
Final Payment:
All reservations: 45 days prior to the tour start date
Late Payment: If there is any outstanding balance by the Final Payment Due date listed on your
invoice, all travel services will be subject to automatic cancellation, and cancellation fees will apply.
Form of Payment: All payments due are in US Dollars. We accept payment in form of personal
check, wire transfers, major credit cards, or debit cards.
Refunds: Refunds are processed to the credit card(s) originally used for payment
Cancellation: Once a partial or full payment has been made, cancellations will only be accepted in
writing, and sent directly to alida@alidalifetravel.com.
Cancellation terms will be applied based on the
date that the written cancellation is received and based on the following dates prior to departure.
